The Suncorp Everyday Options Sub-Accounts

Once you have opened an Everyday Options account with Suncorp you can link it to up to nine sub-accounts which attract high interest, no fees and instant transfers between accounts. Your Everyday Options sub-accounts:

· Are completely fee free when set up in conjunction with an Everyday Options account.

· Will earn a high interest rate of 4.75% on all balances, with no minimum balance or deposit required and no penalties for withdrawals.

· Interest is calculated daily and paid monthly.

¬∑ Can be named individually to keep savings goals and emergency funds in check; one sub-account could be labelled ‚ÄòHoliday’ another could be ‚ÄòInvestment’ and another can be allocated to ‚ÄòBills’.

¬∑ You have the option to apply Suncorp’s flexiRates to any or all of the balance in any sub-account for any period between one month and one year;

* 3 month term, at 5.50%

* 6 month term, at 6.15%

* 12 month term, at 6.35%

Your statements can also be viewed online. Plus, for a small fee you can set up an Automatic Sweep option, where funds will be automatically moved to your Everyday Options account from your sub-accounts to cover a cheque or direct debit if there are insufficient funds.

Opening Suncorp Everyday Options Savings Accounts

A Suncorp Everyday Options account can be opened online, where the online application takes less than 10 minutes and will start by making you complete a checklist to ensure you have all the paperwork you need before you proceed. If you are a new Suncorp customer you may be required to visit a branch to verify your identity, but the rest of the process can be completed online.

During the application for a Suncorp Everyday Options account, you will be asked if you want to open sub-accounts, the number of sub-accounts you want, and what you would like to call each one. Your sub-accounts can be used for personal use only, but can be set up as a mortgage off-set account to ease the pressure of home loan interest rates. Once your application has been received, you will be posted your account details within 2-5 business days and you’ll be ready to start banking, saving and spending.
