Choose an ANZ High Interest Savings Account
If you are looking for a way to boost your savings and meet your financial goals faster and more easily, then an online savings account from ANZ can help. Managed entirely online, a high interest savings account will pay you compounded interest each month or quarter, charge you no monthly or transaction fees and give you access to your savings in case of an emergency.
Features of ANZ high interest savings accounts:
- ANZ SmartyPig online savings account allows you to define your savings goals, and encourage your friends and family to help too. There is no monthly account fee and an initial deposit and an ongoing balance of just $10 is required. You can save more money by opting for electronic statements. Your interest is calculated daily and paid quarterly and from the moment you open your account you can allocate a savings goal and funds target – you may even be rewarded by major Australian retailers when you reach your savings target too.
- The ANZ Progress Saver Account encourages you to grow your savings by offering bonus interest and one free transaction a month. Where online savings accounts usually penalise you for withdrawing money or accessing your funds in branch, the Progress Saver gives you one free transaction each month. Plus, if you continue to make deposits, and no withdrawals you will earn bonus interest on your savings.
- The Online Saver high interest savings account requires no minimum or ongoing balance and can be accessed at ATMs, by phone or online. You can make unlimited balance enquiries at ANZ ATMs to keep an eye on how your savings are growing. You can also open multiple Online Savers for each of your savings goals.
- The ANZ Online Saver received a CANSTAR CANNEX five star rating as at March 2009.
